Unlike the many Wifi weight scales out there, openFit scale uses Bluetooth. We don't ask you to configure a complex device and link it with your wireless router. All you have to do is pair it over bluetooth with the touch of a button on your smartphone.
The openFit scale is open source, so anyone can improve the algorithms behind the device, and write APIs for the latest smartphone apps.
openFit automatically tracks your weight on an iPhone, iPad or Android device via Bluetooth. You can see your weight over time as a nice chart and keep track of the weight changes. Share your progress with friends, co-workers, or a have a biggest loser competition.
